Load Line Length Survey

For some vessels it can be important to establish accurately their Load Line Length as this may dictate the regulatory requirements for commercial operations which are more onerous for vessels longer than a certain threshold. 

This is not usually measurable in a straightforward fashion directly on the vessel.

Whether suitable scale drawings are available or not, Pratt Naval Architecture can accurately establish a vessel’s Load Line Length.

This has recently formed part of the work carried out for a client wishing to operate a vessel commercially.

Previous experience has involved advising a builder on this aspect of a proposed new production design to ensure compliance with the least onerous regulations.
